Project-Concrete Flat work

 

Remove and dispose of sidewalks and doorway approaches.

Remove and dispose of existing Apron south of Shop overhead doors, sawcut asphalt to accept 24’ x 75’ replacement.

Refill and Compact base. Replace Sidewalk and approaches to existing dimensions with 4” of 4000 psi concrete, Composite Rods (equivalent to 5/8 steel rods) at splices/joints in sidewalks and approaches, low chert aggregate, synthetic fiber added to concrete and finished/sealed with Penetrating Salt Guard Sealer.

Refill and Compact base. Replace Shop approach with 8” x 24’ x 75’, 4000 psi concrete, Composite Rods (Equivalent to 5/8 steel rods) at 3 foot centers, crossed at 90 degree angles, low chert aggregate, synthetic fiber added to concrete and finished/sealed with Penetrating Salt Guard Sealer.

Match Asphalt elevation to new concrete with 5 inches of compacted with Hot Mix Asphalt.
